Along the back wall was a small bar, built of heavy concrete to survive the ages. Rumor has it that adventurous travelers and local Ticos would dance here all night long until the sun came up in the morning. Our first visit to the property in 2020 led us to the disco, where at some point over the years an insightful message and drawing had been scribbled across the front of the bar. The message is more like a gift- for you and for Alethea- and has woven its way into Alethea's ethos. Alethea is the Greek word for Truth. Trush lives forever.
